CAMPEONES SPAIN A!!!

Well after many weeks of hard voting, it's official - There is no one hotter than El Capitán. Iker Casillas of Spain A led his troops into battle and annihilated the Rest Of the World Team 5-0 with an average winning score of 75.8%. And winning another major trophy so close to winning Euro 08 led to more scenes of jubilation on the pitch from the Spanish boys.

So thank you all for participating in the inaugural Hottie World Cup. Iker would like to dedicate this trophy to everyone who knew that this was serious.

Bulletin - The Voting

The Hottie World Cup has now finished and we would like to congratulate Iker Casillas, Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso, David Villa, and Raul Albiol of Spain A for being the worthy inaugural winners of this prestigious competition.

We would like to thank you all for participating in our ever going quest to beautify the beautiful game! Remember to support your hotties and remember that this objectification could not have been completed without you!

This isn't just some cheap whoring of footie hotties, this is serious!

The Rules

The HWC committee have selected the teams based on our own judgement of hot footballers. Each country is represented by 5 hotties. Think of it as a hotter than average game of five-a-side football. (Disclaimer: If your favourite baller hottie is not here then they were just not considered hot enough to be called up. The decisions of the HWC are final.)

This is a knockout round competition, similar to a real WC. Each country goes head to head with another country. The draw was made completely at random by the HWC and is shown above. Each member of the team is ranked in order of hotness, starting with the hottest and ending with the least hot. From here, team members with equal ranking will come up against each other in a head to head. #1 vs #1,
#2 vs #2 and so on...

The winning team is the one with the most head to heads won, so in other words, best of 5. Quarter and semi finals and of course the final then follow and are carried out in the same way - see what the draw looks like above.
